Terms & conditions
The terms that apply when you register for the International Panflute Masterclass through this website.
1. The parties
Organiser: International Association of Youth BECOME, organiser of the International Panflute Masterclass, held at the ASTRA National Museum in Sibiu, Romania. Contact: info@panflutemasterclass.ro · +4(0) 745 176.170.
Participant: any person who registers for the masterclass through this website. For participants under 18, the registration is made by a parent or guardian.
2. What you are buying
A subscription to the masterclass — a place in the courses of the 11th edition, held between 02 and 08 August 2026 in Sibiu. The subscription that includes accommodation also covers six nights.
The programme, levels, teachers, participants' rights and obligations are set out in full in the Regulations, which are part of these terms. Where the two differ, the Regulations prevail.
3. Registration
Registration is made online, through the form on this website. It becomes firm once the fee is paid within the deadline announced by the organisers. The organisers may reject an application that is incomplete or does not meet the requirements of the Regulations.
Participants under 18 must also send the declaration signed by a parent or guardian, available on the Regulations page. Participants under 14 must be accompanied; the accompanying person pays their own accommodation and meals.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the subscriptions page, in euro, per participant. Payment can be made by card, by bank transfer, or on arrival where that option is offered at checkout.
For bank transfer we send a proforma invoice by email; the place is confirmed once the payment is registered in our account. Card payments are processed by an authorised payment processor — your card details never reach our servers.
The fee covers what the Regulations list for each subscription. Travel to and from Sibiu is not included. Participants must have their own health insurance and bring their own instrument.
5. Cancellation and refunds
See the cancellation and refunds page.
6. Changes to the programme
The organisers may adjust the schedule, the teachers or the venue of a session where circumstances require it, and will inform participants. If a participant does not match the level chosen at registration, the organisers may move them to the appropriate level, with the agreement of all teachers.
7. Liability
The organisers do not assume responsibility for injuries occurring during the masterclass, nor for participants' personal belongings. Participants are responsible for their own health insurance and for complying with the Regulations and the rules of the venue.
8. Intellectual property
The content of this website — texts, photographs, graphics, logo and structure — belongs to the organisers or is used with permission. Reproduction without written consent is not allowed. Photographs and recordings made during the masterclass may be used by the organisers to document and promote the project.
9. Personal data
Data collected at registration is processed as described in the privacy policy.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute is settled amicably where possible; otherwise by the competent courts in Romania. Consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
